#Earning Season P/L challenge
I tend to stay away from earning season trades. the reason is this results in ridiculous volatility within the week and even after the news, whether good or bad. I remember owning AAPL and they had a good quarterly result that exceeded expectations. the stock still dipped 5% post earnings. why? because of profit taking. I had to wait 2 months before AAPL went up 7% from when I purchased to realize a gain.
