    How to calculate market cap

    Beginner investors always feel confused about stock terms. In this article, we will introduce the basic knowledge of the calculation of stock value.

    1. Shares

    Meaning: the total number of shares issued by the stock company.

    2. Shares Float

    Meaning: the shares of a listed company that circulate in the market.

    Note: For ADS-listed stocks, the outstanding shares are calculated and no official information is available.

    3.Market Cap

    Formula: Market Cap = total shares × latest price

    Meaning: the total stock value of a listed company's total shares calculated at market prices

    4. Float Cap

    Formula: Float Cap= shares float × latest price

    Meaning: the stock value of a listed company's shares circulating in the market calculated at market prices
