SpyderCall : A. $Eli Lilly and Co (LLY.US)$ < B. $Johnson & Johnson (JNJ.US)$ < C. $UnitedHealth (UNH.US)$
These three companies are amazing companies that are heavily invested by institutions all over the world. They are great companies for a long-term investor to hold in their portfolio. For options trader these tickers have tons of options liquidity which provides good contract pricing. These are very good companies to invest in and swing trade. The most common reason for deviations in the market caps of these companies as well as other equities is the buying and selling of their shares in the stock market. This causes the share price to change which causes the market cap to change.
SpyderCall : A company can be on the stock market and its market cap or value is, in theory, whatever people are willing to pay for the stock. A company can be a terribly company that makes absolutely no revenue, has no operating income, and provides no Return On Equity whatsoever. You see these companies in the stock market every day. You also see their prices rocket up to irrationally overpriced levels which pushes their market cap up to the moon. If investors are willing to pay a price for a stock then it will push up the value of the company and its market cap. Even if the company is garbage it can have high market cap.
