Was SpaceX launch a 'success' or 'failure?

An article reported that SpaceX private stock valuation is sky-high. This indicates that stock market still see value in SpaceX and buy the reason that the event is just a test. But in order to improve market sentiment, Elon Must needs to present something concrete in future.

In short term, some media or bloggers will continue to make use of the event to imply Tesla share price will 'crash' like the rocket. As retail investors, we need to be objective. I quote 2 articles and presented a balanced view:
Article 1
Positive:
Within the space industry, Thursday's Starship test mission wasn't considered an outright failure, Caleb Henry, director of research at the space research firm Quilty Analytics, said.

"The expectation was just that — a test," Henry said. "It's important to fail during tests so that you have a greater chance of succeeding" in the future.

Negative:
It doesn't help a company's reputation to be associated with public and explosive mistakes. The optics problem can also turn into financing problems, said Dr. Garrett Reisman, a former NASA astronaut turned engineering professor and SpaceX consultant.

Money was lost in the Starship explosion, though it's not clear how much. SpaceX remains a privately held company, and it's not required to reveal its development expenses.

Article 2
Positive:
Thursday's launch was hailed as "a real accomplishment" and "so successful" by NASA Administrator Bill Nelson and retired International Space Station Commander Chris Hadfield, respectively. SpaceX agreed.

"With a test like this, success comes from what we learn, and today's test will help us improve Starship's reliability as SpaceX seeks to make life multi-planetary," SpaceX later tweeted.

Negative:
The stakes are high, in part because NASA is paying SpaceX to develop a version of the rocket that would send astronauts to the moon as soon as 2025.
