A story of putting into practice the idea of buying individual stocks actively recommended.
I have a conservative and boring investment style, focusing on long-term accumulation of Orkan while holding some bonds. Recently, I purchased 100 shares of Meiji Holdings stock.
I previously mentioned that I did not plan to invest in individual stocks, but if I did, I would buy them for their favorite activities. Recently, I mentioned that I might buy Meiji Holdings stock, and now I have put that into practice.
As I cannot understand timing or charts, I have decided to consider the day I received the new coronavirus vaccine 'Costaibe' sold by Meiji Seika Pharma as the purchase date.
This is within the NISA frame of SBI Securities.
I was anxious because I didn't know how much I could buy at market price, so I placed a limit order.
It seems that "Koss Tyve" needs to be injected for 16 people in a few hours, and it's difficult to manage at clinics, as there are few places offering vaccinations.
I tried various ways to find it, and ended up taking a train ride to get vaccinated.
It's reassuring to hear that the side effects are milder than traditional vaccines, and that it's expected to have long-lasting effects.
However, since it's optional vaccination, it cost 15,000 yen.
Wow, it's expensive~ Can they provide any assistance~.
It seems like I'll need to get vaccinated around this time once a year for a while.
I'll get the influenza vaccine at the same time next year.
In our family, everyone gets the influenza vaccine every year, and this year we have already been vaccinated.
Regarding side effects, besides pain at the injection site, I experienced mild headache, fatigue, and a fever of 37.4 degrees Celsius on the day after vaccination.
After taking premium Buffalin, I quickly recovered and was able to go to a comedy live show with my child as planned.
It was good to get vaccinated on a day off the following day.
Increase those antibody levels~.
I continue to wear a mask in crowded places and wash my hands regularly.
Complications from COVID-19 are quite troublesome, and having experienced difficult times after being infected twice, I really hope to be spared from it again.
Unfortunately, the vaccine does not completely prevent infection, but it does seem to have effects in alleviating symptoms, preventing severe cases, and reducing the likelihood of long-term effects.
It's my first time investing in individual stocks, but I heard that Meiji snacks worth 1,500 yen will be delivered at the end of October as a shareholder benefit.
The recent dividend is 100 yen per share, so with 100 shares, it's 10,000 yen before tax, about 8,000 yen after tax.
Since it's not enough for vaccine expenses, I plan to buy another 100 shares when I have surplus funds.
That might be the limit.
I'm not expecting a significant increase in stock price.
If there are other companies I strongly believe in the future, I might purchase individual stocks, but it's unlikely that surplus funds will accumulate rapidly, so it will be rare.
Wishing everyone good health.
Hoping for the development of vaccines with even higher effectiveness and safety.
