1. CIOs will review their Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
2. The problem was a patch that wasn't supposed to be critical. So the team definitely needs to re-examine the impact of their code.
3. The gradual rollout of new code seemed like an obvious workflow and logic, but it wasn't actually adopted. Probably because they think the impact is low.
3. The question now is whether the company will sue CrowdStrike for this glitch. Contracts usually have limited liability. Also, most listed companies take out commercial insurance.
4. In terms of long-term business impact, technicians choose CrowdStrike because their security capabilities are superior to other companies. This will be a problem unless a company with better technology than them comes along. From what I'm seeing now, it's safe to assume that their position is still strong.
5. This is not unusual, as this is not the first time that Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google, etc. have all experienced similar issues. The complicated problem this time was probably Microsoft's slow response, and CrowdStrike's CEO stepped up on all channels to resolve the issue.
Obviously, there will always be some ignorant people who aren't happy with any answers and responses, so I'm guessing we'll see more in the next few weeks if anything comes to light.

From a valuation perspective, their market-sales ratio has dropped from close to 30 to 20 now. They haven't reached this level since January. Their minimum business value/sales ratio is around 12. In other words, their share price could be cut in half.
Anyways, my $286 GTC order closed on Friday.
