My Family Savings Story 59

~A Word on the New NISA Conspiracy Theory~
On a TV program, a new NISA conspiracy theory was sparked in response to a female celebrity's statement “I don't do NISA” and “I feel that what the country recommends has a reverse side.”
I'm “doing the new NISA conspiracy theory, idiot!”
Bride “What's a conspiracy theory? I don't think NISA has scary stories, though.”
I said, “The new NISA conspiracy theory that is being talked about in the streets is like this, isn't it?”
[New NISA Conspiracy Theory ①] The tax exemption system is suddenly withdrawn and a large amount of tax is levied. Or they are trying to offset Japan's deficit finances by freezing NISA account securities accounts.
[New NISA Conspiracy Theory ②] They are encouraging many Japanese people to invest in overseas assets such as US stocks, etc., and they are trying to flow money to America, which is the de facto suzerain country.
[New NISA Conspiracy Theory ③] Sell ETFs, etc. purchased by the Bank of Japan, and sell them where stock prices rose by making Japanese people invest for exit strategies. There is a risk that assets will not increase even if the new NISA is carried out, and conversely, they will be lost.
Bride “What are these people saying? I don't know what that means”
I said, “I'm sure it's a story about people who haven't invested, are afraid of investing, and have investment allergies”
I said, “People who have invested until now and have used up NISA don't say this”
I said, “The Bank of Japan ETF exit strategy is a bit interesting, but that's probably impossible. The new NISA often invests in US stocks and global stocks, and ETFs held by the Bank of Japan are Japanese stocks. It's not going to be an exit strategy, is it?”
Bride “Isn't that celebrity also lost a lot in stocks?”
Me: “Seems like it. it looks like it was done by the Lehman shock. I wonder if there is an investment allergy from there”
I said, “You can't ignore this kind of conspiracy theory. I think this will happen in the future.”
[The future I anticipate ①] Tax increases on taxable accounts. Currently, about 20% tax is generated on profits for specific accounts, etc., but it is determined that they are wealthy people who can exceed the NISA tax exemption limit, and I anticipate that taxes will be further raised to 25%, 30%, and 35%.
[The future I anticipate ②] Introducing tax payments from an income basis to an asset holdings base. Even for people with large amounts of financial assets, tax amounts and social insurance premiums will be reduced if they have no income. This will be the asset base, and I anticipate that people who have large amounts of assets will increase their tax payments and social insurance premiums.
Bride “Your predictions are realistic, and it's even scarier”
I'm “Ahaha, Sumansman”
I said, “But it seems likely, isn't it?”
Bride: “It seems likely, it seems likely. If you use up NISA and iDeco, will it somehow be different?”
I was like, “well, they're going to do something, right?”
My family's savings are still going on.
