Regarding recent earnings and future investment policies.

With the US presidential election over and major Q3 earnings reports, including Big Tech, released, I took profits and repositioned stocks this week, compressing unrealized gains by approximately +10 million yen.
Notable realized gains were in NVDA, PLTR, CEG, AEM. Each of these capitalized on recent AI, energy, gold, and other hot topics, leading to substantial profits.
Although TSM had solid earnings, its stock price stagnated, prompting me to cut losses and liquidate all positions. I believe there are no major issues with future performance, but due to insufficient geopolitical risk assessment criteria such as Trump's policies regarding China, Russia, the Middle East, and security, I will monitor future policy developments.
Regarding current positions, first with AI-related investments, based on the earnings and guidance of companies like AMZN, GOOG, MSFT, META, I still see a bright outlook. However, I narrowed down the investment targets to NVDA and PLTR, and also conducted profit-taking and position adjustments for the two continued investment stocks. The trading focuses on adjusting the slightly biased allocation, and overall does not change the bullish stance.
Next, RDDT had good earnings and was added to the portfolio due to its interesting services and attractive as an investment from a business and user perspective.
The most significant change in this position adjustment was related to cryptocurrency-related stocks. They have been part of the portfolio since before the US presidential election, but after it ended, I significantly increased the positions.
As for the overall financial environment going forward, while I believe more US policies will lean towards a weaker dollar, I structurally consider that there is a high possibility of the dollar trending higher in the near future, making it somewhat difficult for me personally to touch bonds and financial stocks.
Therefore, I am considering integrating alternative assets effectively, but as gold has been rising significantly recently, depending on the policies and tension in the future in the United States, Europe, China, India, Russia, and the Middle East region, I am also considering the possibility of moving towards geopolitical stability or chaos.
However, in the short term, I view the trend as high stock prices and low cash, so I have decided to increase my position in MSTR, which is a cryptocurrency-related stock with many factors that could act as tailwinds environmentally.
In conclusion, following the Q3 earnings and the completion of the U.S. presidential election, I personally choose to take a risk-on stance and create an environment where I can be flexible with my investments, focusing on four specific stocks for related information. The upcoming FOMC meeting is a major topic, but due to the potential for significant stock price movements in conjunction with the U.S. government's actions, I want to be able to respond flexibly by potentially adjusting not only investment holdings but also cash positions.

LIZ_REI : What kind of work do you do? Are you a full-time trader?
lllasis LIZ_REI : I'm curious about that too.
sato koji OP LIZ_REI : I was a researcher in the field of natural sciences until April~. Now, I have my own company and do various things mainly on the web. It doesn't feel like work too much because I do what I want to do whenever I want in a laissez-faire manner. Well, one thing is for sure, I'm not a full-time trader.
