This growth is expected to be led by the logic and memory sectors, with both sectors forecasted to exceed 400 billion dollars in size. This forecast has been revised upwards reflecting the strong market trends in 2024.

WSTS predicts that the semiconductor market will increase by 11.2% in 2025, reaching an estimated value of 697 billion dollars in the global market. Growth is expected to be mainly driven by the Logic and Memory sectors, exceeding a total of 400 billion dollars. This includes growth in Logic by over 17% year-on-year and Memory by over 13% year-on-year. Other semiconductor categories are expected to grow at a more moderate single-digit growth rate, indicating steady expansion of the industry as a whole.
In 2025, continuous expansion is expected in all regions. Double-digit growth compared to the previous year is expected to be maintained in North and South America and the Asia Pacific Region.
