In the morning session of the Tokyo stock market, the Nikkei Average continued to decline, closing at 39,411.76 yen, down 193.33 yen from the previous trading day. Many view the significant decline of Fast Retailing as a major factor driving down the overall market. Although it temporarily fell to 39,166.05 yen, down 439.04 yen from the previous trading day, it showed a recovery pace from the middle of the day.

Today's government bond futures continued the downward trend from overnight trading and started with a selling trend. During the day, with no government bond supply-demand events such as auctions or operations leading to limited new trading opportunities, it moved weakly.
Inamatsu Katsutoshi, Senior Strategist at Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Asset Management, describes it as "price movements unexpectedly weak."
