There was someone discussing individual stocks in NISA, so I'll follow suit and talk about it again 😂
Personally, I only buy ETFs and investment trusts in NISA.
In addition to the reason of not wanting to move due to the assumption of aiming for compound interest with the premise of filling the quota to the full every year, there is another reason.
That's because 'taking a loss in NISA is a complete loss'.
For a specific account, losses and profits can be offset, and if the losses exceed profits, the losses can be carried forward in the following year.
If you take a 1 million loss and realize a 1 million profit this year, the tax is 0 through profit and loss offset.
Alternatively, if you only take a 1 million loss this year and realize a 1 million profit next year, the tax is 0 through loss carry-forward.
This cannot be done with NISA.
For example, if you cut losses by 1 million in NISA and take profits by 1 million in a specific account
taxes will be charged on the entire 1 million yen profit (approximately 0.2 million yen).
I believe that it is completely fine to invest in individual stocks through NISA for those who do not cut losses with NISA, or for those whose annual trades fit within the NISA limit, and even for those who challenge the risks of cutting losses with NISA.
I personally think that if not, it may be worth reconsidering individual stocks in a NISA account.

After enduring for several months, I reached my limit last night and sold...
Feeling unable to exceed 138-140, I couldn't bear it anymore 😔
In two parts, at 98 and 100...
Every time I sell, it goes up, really.
If N exceeds 140 from here, maybe I should quit stocks... Because I lack too much sense, maybe investment trusts are more suitable 🥲

Happy New Year. It is the first article update of the new year. However, the market sentiment is not at all celebratory. Due to the year-end decline, $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ Stopped out below the stop-loss and exited, $Apple (AAPL.US)$ Also exited yesterday.
Yesterday, as soon as the market opened, there was a sudden drop, and while I was taking a bath, all my US stocks hit the stop-loss and got cut off. $Palantir (PLTR.US)$ $Reddit (RDDT.US)$ $Astera Labs (ALAB.US)$ But since it was recovering, I decided to Buy them back. Even though I was able to Buy them back, I missed out on 3-4%.
However, US stocks are generally weak. The Index ETF dropped to the lower limit in mid-December. If there is a rebound from here, it will be safe, but if it breaks down, it will look like a bearish trend, which is not good.
Year-end $Hino Motors (7205.JP)$ Although Japanese stocks were strong, the influence on Japanese stocks will be inevitable if US stocks continue to decline.
Although it is a suspicious start from the beginning of the year, in 2024, after initially declining at the beginning of the year, Semiconductors immediately experienced a major market boom, so I want to patiently wait for another big Buy this year.

This ETF won't rise above 30.
Is it okay to buy at 30 or below and sell at 30?
But it's also unpleasant to watch with fingers crossed if it goes up, isn't it?

Somehow endured last August's crash, finally achieved a double bagger in November, but then all unrealized gains disappeared...
If it continues to drop further, it will become negative, and I'm unsure when it will reverse. I'm torn on whether I should sell everything...

りゅうたんたん : Buying crappy ETFs like 2244... I only invest in individual stocks and have made explosive profits by catching the bottom price. I intend to take profits at a certain level. After all, it depends on your trading skills, right? Even with Funds, you're entrusting the management so you never know what will happen If there is a crash, any unrealized gains will disappear. Unrealized gains are ultimately illusions. I used to hold quite a lot of Funds before, but I sold them all off Funds won't really make your money grow significantly. Since it's tax-free, the correct way to use NISA is to earn a hefty profit with stocks aiming for explosive gains
