I wanted to transfer some money out, but the transaction failed with the reason being "According to anti-money laundering regulations, only xx can be transferred this time." The xx amount is just a few dollars. I searched through the app but couldn't find the detailed rules about anti-money laundering regulations. Is there a time limit or account restriction? I transferred from Bank A a month ago and now want to transfer to Bank B with a very small amount, so it couldn't be an amount restriction. Why not transfer back to Bank A? Because they require me to hold my ID card and take a photo upload. I dare not do that, who knows what they will use my photo for. I have been in the USA for decades and have never heard of such absurd requirements. Only in China have I heard of things like nude loans and campus loans being exposed in the news.
