Amidst the pandemic, let’s look forward to a better year ahead!
Collect your red packets and make them roll in moomoo! But before investing, remember to read up, do your research, diversify your portfolio, and make sure you plan your funds well!
Take care and Stay healthy everyone! And may we Huat together here!
First step into 2022 was increasing my $Apple (AAPL.US)$ shares and also that of $Futu Holdings Ltd (FUTU.US)$. Praying that they do well. Sold and then bought back $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ at its rise and short dip before it went back up (: so small profits there.

Since several of my sg bonds have matured, the available funds can allow me to increase my stock investments to 30% of my overall liquid cash. Some stocks I will be looking into and holding on the long term of > 3 years, $Keppel DC Reit (AJBU.SG)$ $Novavax (NVAX.US)$ $Futu Holdings Ltd (FUTU.US)$ Hoping to achieve target of > 20-30% earnings

Patience! I have learnt about this valuable virtue. To hold on to a stock even if the market shows it under performing. Biggest mistake is to cash out too early to “minimise losses” but created more losses instead.

This is the year where I started my trading journey. Moomoo was introduced to me by a friend and after a few days, I got the hang of the application platform.
The memorable part of my beginner journey is when I started to earn a little for my keep! I invested in $Apple (AAPL.US)$ at a starting price of 130 and recently it hit an all time high of 181!
Apart from investment in US stocks, I appreciate that the Moomoo platform also provides courses to increase the users’ investment knowledge. For example, it teaches the importance of diversifying our investment portfolio.
Before even dabbling out in the other Hong Kong or China stock markets, Moomoo allows beginner users like myself to try it out in their paper trading platform! This was refreshing and good for me to learn more about the different company market trends and also to read up more on their portfolios.
Lastly, I appreciate that Moomoo always try to increase the knowledge of their users in their Daily quiz questions! I made a lot of mistakes but it also allows me to learn more about investment.
Thank you Moomoo for organising all the events where we can learn, win points, and sometimes free shares! Will definitely recommend the app to all my friends and family!![]()

I was introduced to short-term trading by my friends and they were pulling in their keeps. However, the change in the stock market is faster and more volatile than you can imagine. Some got burnt in the progress. my advice here is to observe, read widely, do ample research on the stock you want to get into. Volatility may not necessarily be bad but you need to know when to hold and when to let go based on your the situation! Do not make the mistake of just dumping your cash into someplace just when someone asks you to follow their lead! You should be confident in making your own decisions. Because everyone’s risk appetite and financial situation is different.
