I think n hope govt shld do more to help low income n especially retiree who don't have any income at all.  I rely on passive income like interest on my saving. now with interest coming down n everything going up, looks like my saving can't last till the day I die.

in spore unless u have excess fund  n there is a need like bringing yr children to school,  it is not worthwhile to own a car especially now when coe is 100k.  I bot mine more than 15yrs ago when coe was below 20k n renew another 10yrs before coe start rising at abt 26k.  in spore u must remember our govt hire  top scholars  not for nothing. they are there to introduce policy that ensure revenue keep going up.  a good example is yr housing. they peg sales price to market price n not actual cost ...

as a retiree ,my holiday plan is the opposite of those working.  I go during off peak season where cost is cheaper. I like to go genting during weekdays where it is not only cheaper but what is more important is that there is no jam.  instead of giving govt free 150 dlrs to enter casino in spore, I can have a 3days 2nite stay plus 3meals with that amt of money in genting msia.

HB SPORE. The best part of national day which u n everyone like most is that it is a holiday.
