i think the best is dollar cost averaging as this allow us to not to time the market and to invest consistently every month or every quarter etc so that we will not miss out the best months of the market and have a better to make profits in the market for mid to long term. it is also leas stressful.

Due to the increase in the COVID cases, we will just stay at home to celebrate CNY to build stronger bonds.
I will keep the angpows money and invest them in good strong fundamental companies that dips when there is a big drop in Dows and Nasdaq.

Long term investment is safer than short term investment. The risk level is not that high, the only thing is that we need a lot of patience. For long term investment,  buy excellent companies with strong business moat and good cash flow and do not be overly bother by daily news. Just like buying SGX, it is with strong business moat and free cashflow and givea quarterly dividends, so if we buy this during crisis, we will have capital gain and collect dividends along the way. In this way, we can win the market.

I think there will be a correction in 1 - 2 years time as some stocks went up too high and their P/E have gone  ridiculously high which is unsustainable. There is always correction when there is extreme greed in the market.

I started shot term trading by trading stock that are trading sideways, look for the resistance and support for the stock and set up a target selling price and buying price for that stock. Also the stock that I started short term trading must be strong company mpany with good cash flow and strong business. This way it is safer and will usually have more chances of winning.
