As an adult in mid-30s, Halloween is not commonly celebrated by my family. In current days, young families are celebrating the event in a more elaborated manner. With the COE prices being so high, I'd prefer to take public transport given the high connectivity in Singapore's public transport system. There will also be additional costs incurred from buying a car besides the  COE, such as petrol costs, maintenance costs and season parking costs. All these expenses would be better spent on other areas, such as housing and investments with higher ROI and better value. To be honest, car is just a depreciating asset in Singapore.
