151759697 : This has always been the goal of Tesla. Autonomous mobility manufacturer. They've now been developing the tech for over 10 years (at least publicly known). This is not news. What is a tactical misstep was the fact that Musk was adamant cameras were enough to achieve greater than L2 autonomy and spent years on this misadventure. Now maybe with future improvements in machine vision this could be a possibility, I don't know, but x.ai is in a good position to take advantage of any advancements in that area. Many other companies now have much more advanced multi-sensor arrays to achieve autonomous mobility. Infrastructure and public trust are the lagging factors that are holding back profitable business models IMO.
