Cut your losses once your position has dropped 10-15%.  you can leverage the loss to offset gains, provided you do not repurchase the same position until the 31st day.

Knowing when to get out.  I have made over $2 million but didn't sell when  I should have, thinking the stock would continue to rise or hold its gain.  The fear of selling too early and missing out on gains has been my struggle with the stock market and cost me greatly.
Will I eventually recoup my loss? Yes, but I sacrificed time and missed taking a profit to invest in other stocks or reinvest at a lower price that would have tripled my gain.  Lesson learned? We shall see.

I do not believe Russia will honor any peace.agreement that it signs unless Putin is removed from power.  With Putin's current approval rating somewhere around 70% and sanctions not having enough time to be felt as of yet, time will tell how long the Russian people will tolerate the Putin's new normal.  I see this escalating, and I do see NATO (eventually) intervening.

that is my philosophy when the market tumbles.  No one knows the future, but you cannot be emotional when trading.  Do what makes sense to you and your situation, but do not cave to FOMO.
