I doubt the war will end soon. As there's still a big gap between the wants of both parties. And US probably doesn't want the war to end soon soon either given its own interest in weakening Russia and NATO as well as boosting its influence.

I doubt if this will be the turning point for Chinese Tech stock. As long as government wants to maintain a strong control on the private sector, Chinese Tech companies won't be able to enjoy the same freedom as before.
One may not be able to name a famous female investor like Warran Buffet, Charlie Munger, George Soros, Ray Dalio, etc. However, as we know, and as we see, there are a number of good female investors in both institutional and retail investment space, who are making great returns. We probably should encourage more ladies to start investing to have more views and presence of investment philosophy from them.

I have to admit I bought high for several stocks over the past few years, and I mainly adopted a hold and see approach. partially because those stocks are dividend stocks, so I can still collect dividend while waiting for the price to recover. secondly, I'm also looking at the industry cycle and I think they will rise again once market recovers.
My philosophy is 1) invest for long term over short term 2) focuses on good business over business model 3) business leader/board/management team matters, sometimes we are investing in people not just business
I doubt if those institutions all have crystal ball but the past 5 years, especially the last 2 years, are not the normal. With many dramas going on now, post-China cracking down on Big Tech, Sino-US relationship, Russia-Ukraine tension, global inflammation, populism driven governments, etc, the next 1-2 years could be highly volatile.
So unless one knows which institution to follow, I would think passive investment will achieve better return than institutions average
