Decided to take a shot at the recent dips in the Reits sector. $CapLand IntCom T (C38U.SG)$ and $Mapletree Ind Tr (ME8U.SG)$ mainly to make a small profit. Banks of course $DBS Group Holdings (D05.SG)$ $UOB (U11.SG)$ soaring in Jan, more than making up for the current dips in SReit holdings.
Also decided to channel direction to China's EV Market using ETFs. EV automotives and technology are the future especially in China with its regulations and incentives. $NIO Inc (NIO.US)$ $Contemporary Amperex Technology (300750.SZ)$ $Li Auto (LI.US)$

1) With the year rounding up the pandemic, I believe most of us are in the 'green' as I am. It has been a fruitful journey thus far and only recently found MooMoo. $SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY.US)$ has been my bread and butter in the US market.
2) Having mostly traded in the domestic SG market, much progress was made in SReits like $CapLand IntCom T (C38U.SG)$ $FRASERS LOGISTICS & COM TRUST (BUOU.SG)$. And of course the usual bank powerhouse $DBS Group Holdings (D05.SG)$.
3) The main thing I have learned is to be more decisive in entry and exit. Hesitation has caused opportunity cost and reduced profits. And also on a side note, not to be overly greedy. Chasing ships that have already left the harbour might see you lagging behind in the choppy waters.

Moomoo has proven to be user friendly and a breeze to navigate thus far.
As always there are always room for improvement. There are a few things that I am on the lookout for.
1) Fractional Trading - This would allow the investment for people that may not have the capital to own a full share.
2) Crypto - It is great to be able to monitor quotes on Crypto currently, however it would be amazing if it could be traded on this platform.
3) Customizable period of P/L - This might not be a huge impact of a change but it would be nice.
4) Permanent real time quotes - It would be the best app hands down to trade in if this service could be provided free to its active users consistently. I believe more users will switch over for this service.

Time is probably the best tool we have to hedge against volatility.
Fear resulting from dips in retracements, market corrections etc. can influence us to exit the market. We might risk exiting the market prematurely and missing the entry points when the stock recovers or soars.
As the old adage goes, "Time in the market is better than timing the market". Time allows us to ride out the volatility year to year. Time also allows our stock picks the chance to shine.
That being said, adequate fundamental analysis has to be done to ensure the stock choice is sound. By understanding how time is our best tool, we can learn to take emotions out of investing and focus on the long term horizon.
