CJem : Saylor is the most notable Bitcoin proponent for sure, but the game theory and human nature being what it is, I BET there are many, MANY more billionaires who are secretly amassing their Bitcoin stash unbeknownst to the rest of the world.  Some even belongs to the Trump's enemy camp!  When regular people on the main street begin their Bitcoin amassing, Bitcoin price of multiple thousands of dollars will be a distant memory.  Masses will be buying using the Satoshi count, NOT the whole Bitcoin count because a whole Bitcoin will be  way out of reach for them.  Having said this, the PATH to that eventuality WILL NOT be a smooth upward curve simply because THEY, you know whom I'm referring to, want the general public to disdain Bitcoin UNTIL they're fully done amassing THEIR Bitcoin stash.  Sad but the very exact scenario has been repeating for the entirety of human history and it likely will stay that way in perpetuity.

CJem CloudNomad : Imagine you have unlimited supply of fiat currency or ability to borrow unlimited amount at NO risk, because someone ELSE (read tax payers!) will foot the bill if and when your position doesn't work out, AND you want to amass as much Bitcoin as cheaply as possible, what would YOU do?  You figure this out then you would've answered your own question.  Remember, things are NOT what it seems in the market AT both the critical low point and high point because the entities that CONTROL it has to maneuver their positions AGAINST the masses awareness.  It's not what it seems.

CJem : Remember, WE are the human indicator!  Just when you get FIXEATED due to the recency bias, that's when the perverse market makes a fool out of us all.  Sure, Bitcoin can tank like you say, but it could also leave you in the dust and shoot up without any warning.  For me, while I stay agnostic to day to day price gyrations, I also work hard not to loose sight on the inevitability of ever depreciating fiat and other so called monetary capital.  Given enough time Bitcoin is going higher, MUCH MUCH higher....

CJem 10baggerbamm OP : So you're just keeping yourself busy by commentating on the short term price directions in the meantime?  Yes, waiting is another trait successful long term investors MUST acquire...

CJem : I understand 20 DMA and all other points you make.  I also agree to your analysis.  The only thing I see a bit differently is that since I'm still in the accumulation phase with my DCAs, I don't see myself as fish on the line, a helpless victim of THEIR manipulation!  In fact, I WELCOME low prices on Bitcoin, stocks and even real estate - yes, the enemies' effort!  l and my children and their children will be in this for a LONG time, so any temporary (even if it lasts more than several YEARS) price decline is a GOOD THING, provided that EVENTUALLY the RIGHT prevails.  I think it will, I hope and pray it will. 
The right side is Trump's side for the time being - personal freedom, individual property ownership, productivity driven economic growth, common sense community, etc. etc.  World where the new generation can always look forward bettering themselves beyond where their parents and grandparents generations came from.  Same reason why I support Musk's vision and enterprise.

CJem : So you're hedging for a potential recession, I understand.  I'm still staying the course because I believe the risk of missing out sudden and sustained rise in assets are pretty much the same odd as a run of the mill recession now.  Some are arguing for 1929 style depression looming but I don't see that happening simply because we're not living on steam engine powered 1929.  People tend to fight last wars over and over again.

CJem : Just out of curiosity, are you using any kind of margin or leverage?  I think you mentioned about BITX.  But in my book, if you fully paid for your BITX position, or any other leveraged ETF, you are NOT leveraged.  Since you can't lose more than what you have paid.  Sure when Bitcoin drops 50% BITX could be down 85%, etc.  But if you DCA BITX, it won't take much bounce on Bitcoin to start making paper profit.

CJem 10baggerbamm OP : Well then, you are long on Bitcoin, TSLA...  so you should be just fine!  Even better if you can add to your position from time to time through this down phase.  The enemies will do their best, I expect nothing less, but they can't fight the force of nature for ever because the naked/synthetic short selling has its own limitation.  Not from numbers but from human psychology.  Remember this, there's no honor among thieves.  The VERY cartel members are going to undermine their own concerted effort to destroy Trump.  They can't help themselves, their greedy nature will destroy their own hands.  They will secretly cover their shorts and go long beunknowest to the rest of the cartel, one by one.  Eventually causing the flood gate of short covering resulting short squeeze!You mark my word.  There's reason why I've been studying human psychology/behavior above ALL else when it comes to the investment market.  At critical turning point, it's always the human psychology that tips the scale, not accounting facts/figures nor trading strategies/tactics.  Greed and fear trumps, pun intended, any other forces/ideas when it comes to the markets.  That you can take to the bank!
