• CJem Printing Money OP : Are you upset because Trump didn't make Bitcoin into US reserve assets yet?  Or maybe because he issued his and her own meme coins? I agree that was pretty juvenile thing to do, but he's a human too.  He too will climb the learning curve just like everyone before him.  I agree that Trump's vision of US needs Bitcoin more than Bitcoin needs his hand up.  In fact, I really don't think Bitcoin needs ANYONE'S help to continue her climb to FAIR and STABLE value in the long run.

• CJem : This is also faulty reason.  You SHOULD have already BOUGHT way below 20dma!  If you wait for technical confirmation, you might FEEL safe putting on your position, but more likely you will end up buying as OTHER short term traders are ready to dump on you!  Remember, buy low sell high?

• CJem : FYI, I've DCA Bitcoin since June of 2022.  I usually invest every two weeks.  My first purchase was at 28k, my lowest was around 18k, so at that point I was down over 35% on my initial installment.  Was I upset?  A little, I'm a human being too. But I had conviction and a game plan to stick with my displined approach.  Now those positions make me look like a genius.  Up more than 300% in less than 3 years.  But my point is that almost every time I made purchase of Bitcoin, there ALWAYS were reasons NOT to make that purchase.  JUST like your exact technical analysis with the 20 dma!  I hope you can hear what I'm trying to convey....

• CJem 10baggerbamm OP : I'm confused.  You mentioned Warren Buffett who I consider to be one of my teacher yet you go IN and OUT of positions?  Warren doesn't do that.  If you aren't going to hold it for 10 years, you shouldn't be holding it for 10 minutes is what he teaches.  Am I missing something?

• CJem 10baggerbamm OP : Yes, that's what TA shows!  But I know that it can't show the future!  The Bitcoin might break clean out of the resistance, no warning no reason.  Just as easily to break down below that point!  In a short run no one can accurately and consistently predict the price movement. I know this is why any short term trader who ARE consistent always emphasize the money management far above any other part of their trading arsenal.  Because as much as they try, they deep down KNOW that they can't be that sure of any of their trades.  Humility pays the bills.

Is that what you saying?  If so, you must excuse my confusion.  I'm not trading at all.  My portfolio might see some rebalancing once in a while but I try to avoid any short term capital gains or ordinary income due to option premium or dividends.  My apology!

• CJem OP : The market LOVES and WELCOMES speculators and traders because they supply liquidity.  And just as every casino advertises their winners both overtly and covertly, there's going to be tall tales of mind boggling winning trades.  I ask you to look at the LIFETIME aggregate total of all speculators and traders to see the real picture, however.  There's a reason why there are old traders and there are wealthy traders but very few, if any, old and wealthy traders.

• CJem OP : I was one of those successful trader for many years but it finally dawned on me that I don't want to deal with the stress of having a good paying job until I die.  There are things in life far more valuable than any material possession or the ability to pay for ever increasing life style.  If you are truly humble and teachable you will do well but there's an even better way that has much greater chance of success with far fewer pitfalls.  Choice is yours of course.

• CJem OP : Well, I hope it works out for you.  I found that my trading results often was proportionally correlated with the degree of conviction I could place behind it and the conviction is often related to the level of intelligence behind the information which was available to me at the time.  If I were to put a trade because I found or heard someone who SHOULD know better, what would happen the first time the market goes against my position?  Do I bail or double down?  Also once it goes into profit, how long do I hold it?  Worse yet, if the trade immediately goes in my favor for a while and then a drawdown happens, what do I do?  Take whatever profit remains or weather the storm expecting the longer term continuation trend to resume?  Trading is hard enough without all these scenarios popping up on you unprepared.   After many years of consistent losses and blown accounts, I finally came to the point that when I made my decision on a trade I KNEW why I was doing it and I KNEW what I'll do once I was proven by market either my decision was correct or incorrect.  I know even that basic survival level in trading can be hard fought lesson.  Although I eventually became a consistent year to year (most of the later years, almost month to month too) profitable trader, I don't miss my trading days one bit!  So best of luck to you.

• CJem OP : They would rather confuse people to believe in a lie where Trump's rallying cry of Make America Great Again means Make America Great Again at Everyone Else's Expense!  It's actually the opposite, those who control over you at YOUR expense will see their influence diminish, but MAGA will bring a new epoch of innovation that will uplift anyone and everyone no matter which country you may be!  If you can read this, you certainly can partake on the American Renessance by buying Bitcoin and American Equity Index like QQQ to start your position and continue to add to it.  You can also get involved in your country's policy making to force your leaders to follow the lead of America.  I understand that not all nations would allow that, but at least you can reap the benefits of MAGA financially by investing accordingly!  You might also look for a company in your own country who's aligning themselves with Trump's agenda.  There's so much wealth to be created in next four years, it will be hard not to profit!

• CJem 10baggerbamm OP : All valid points for NOW, and being a reasonable person you are, you will come to logical conclusion based on your analysis.  But the fact of the matter is that no one can know EVERYTHING there is to know, especially about what hasn't taken place yet.  I once was an active trader many moons ago until I realized that I was making profit as the SOLE result of my never ending struggle of analysis. I was just earning my effort.  Sure, that's more than what most full time traders can say after decades in the trench, but it dawned on me that all I had was a glorified job!  The moment I stop working, the money stops!  Because I was earning my wages, even though my RATE of return based on my deployed capital was into hundreds of percent a year, it NEVER really compounded after a certain threshold!  And it became physically too demanding to continue, so I took my humble pie and began to follow the old teachers method.  Ever since I took that bitter pill of humility my account has been compounding nicely year after year albeit with compatibly measley ROR of only high double digits.  But I don't mind it.  Being released from daily grinds is well worth it.  And pretty soon I'll be surpassing my best trading year profit level too.  Oh, don't forget about the taxes either.  Man, it was like pulling teeth to give a cut of my hard fought profit!  Long term capital gains is much better and playing cards right I may never need to sell most of my holdings.

• CJem 10baggerbamm OP : The reasons why I opened the this toy account on Moomoo was to 1) check the market when I'm out of my office - the old habit never really dies, like a sober alcoholic, I can't stay too far from the action, 2) check the SENTIMENT of participants - which is a huge part in the thesis of accumulation and distribution. It doesn't work in the natural or normal stage of the market, and 3) to do my good Samaritan deeds in anonymity by leaving trails of bread crumbs for those who are coming behind me.  I also been burdened quite heavily for several years to write it all down and publish what I have learned both from my own experience AND what great teachers have already taught!  I don't know if I'm worthy to do that just yet because 99% of what I know comes from those who went before me.  Adding another volume seems just supuflous and wasteful.  Too much ego boasting.  I hope that I'll continue to comment here and carry on conversation and help those who are READY.  I know there are short term traders who amessed their fortune into hundreds of millions, but I know of NO short term trader other than the late Jim Simon of Medallion fund who attained their fortune into multiple billions.  Of course I'm neither of these cases.  Even in my full time trader day I was barely nipping at high six figure at best and my trading capital wouldn't budge much higher than about the same level. I never got to a million dollars trading account after more than two decades of WORKING!  Obviously, I had to face the fact that I wasn't cut out to be those rare individuals who can amess hundreds of millions by TRADING.  A man's got to know his limitations as they say.  But after switching my tactics - there was a total and complete break off from the market, 100% cold turkey shut off from 2009 to 2019 when I didn't put a dime in the market.  Maybe it was this hiatus that gave me that 1% of inspiration and insight that "completed" the missing piece.  Who knows?  In 2019, my children began to enter college and obviously money became a factor.  At the time I didn't have much extra capital to deploy into any investment ideas.  So working side jobs, I began to DCA following my newly formulated investment plan.  So far, I'm averaging 65% annualized return for last 4 years and soon should be breaking the million dollars mark which I never were able to attain in any of prior 20 plus years of trading!  Obviously my investment account doesn't FUND my life like my trading was, so it wouldn't be an apple to apple comparison, but I'm definitely a lot more relaxed.  The icing on the cake is that I can actually SEE a pathway to become a centa millionaire or even a billionaire, if I live long enough!  Now I'm truly reaping the benefit of compound growth which my trading days never did.
