$SIA (C6L.SG)$ I expect a gap up opening on Monday due to the super good news on opening up of VTL for US, UK and few other countries.

$SIA (C6L.SG)$ "It may take some time for global air travel to normalise," said Mr Iswaran. "But we will do our utmost to make sure Changi and SIA soar again." https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/transport/vaccinated-travel-lane-scheme-to-be-expanded-soon-1-covid-19-case-detected-among

$SIA (C6L.SG)$ Actually the below article on "Opening up for Poland" is a very good news for Singapore Aviation Industry. Slowly but surely the Singapore Air Travel is resuming in a phased manner with utmost care and caution is good. Post Pandamic many Air Travel related restrictions (like the current basic security check) will be introduced and kept for couple of years in all Air Travels globally. Air Travellers will adhere to all those restrictions to make Air Travel safe for both self and Co-Travellers. Already some of the geographically big counties have eased domestic travel restrictions and increased number of domestic flights in their respective countries. As a next logical step we can see this will get extended to international Air Travel as well. Again, Post pandemic if at all one industry which is going to be busy is Tourism only (i.e., Hotel Industry, Airbnb kind of business, Tour Operators, Airlines, etc) and within Tourism it will be Airlines especially. Those who are in Aviation Industry knows the importance of Singapore Airport acting as a HUB in "HUB and SPOKE" model of Airport coverage by many Airlines. Meaning many international travellers take connecting flights at Singapore Airport. I personally feel SIA is insulated for any kind of turbulence due to multiple factors like promoters, brand image, industry forecast post pandemic, etc. I agree the short-term prospect of Airline industry depends on many if's and but's but the long-term prospect must be great. Be an investor to create wealth and not a trader. Note: This post is certainly not a recommendation to either buy or sell. It is your hard earned money so invest wisely by applying your own due diligence, investment goal and risk appetite.

$Silverlake Axis (5CP.SG)$ Spike in volume with price raise. I guess someone who is confident on the future prospect of this company is accumulating the shares.

$SIA (C6L.SG)$ i felt everyone will agree that air travel will resume, improvement in financial numbers of SIA will happen. The only debatable issue at hand is the entry point for SIA. Some say buy at 4.3, some say buy at 4.65 and some say any price between 5 to 5.1, personally i felt if you believe in the upward trajectory of the share price, you can buy into SIA. For a day trader, they of course will want to buy at the lowest and offload as soon as possible. For others with a longer view, the current price is still acceptable as their TP horizon will be about $7 or even prior to precovid trading price. ...

$SIA (C6L.SG)$ All these are my personal views. None of these points are either a recommendation or a tip to buy or sell. It is your hard earned money so invest wisely. Do your own due diligence before buying or selling any share.
Pros of SIA (and Airline Stocks):
- SIA is a Crown Jewel of SG. No matter what, SIA is here to stay.
- Majority stocks of SIA are held by strong group. As long as they are confident and holding on to all their shares then we don't need to bother.
- SIA has an internationally reputed brand image.
- No technology can replace air travel. So this Airlines industry is here to stay. (Note: We have seen Smartphones destroyed Digital Photo Camera market).
- Global High vaccine % rate can open up International Passenger Air Travel. All countries are trying their level best to improve on the vaccination rate.
- Even during this tough times SIA is able to manage well by narrowing losses via other avenues (like improved cargo travel, etc).
- SIA has all three segments of flights. High End (Singapore Airlines), Mid Segment (Silk Air) and Budget Airlines (Scoot). So they are going to mint money once things return back to normalcy.
- If at all there is one sector which is going to bounce back hard and fast once the global pandemic is over is Airlines stocks.
- To makeup the losses incurred over the years, once the passenger air travel is open, the air carriers across the world will set the price higher than usual. Note: Higher demand for ...
