There should be a law where congress members can only invest in mutual funds and index funds.

It will be 2022 in a few days. Any predictions as to stocks that will perform really well in the next year and either short or long term?

$NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ The usual comment about P/E is that it doesn't apply to growth companies. This is true in some cases, but not all. For new companies growing revenue quickly, they might have a negative P/E, and still be a viable investment.
We remember when Tesla had a P/E over 1000. Its recent TTM P/E is 330, and its forward P/E is 120. A 120 multiple for a car company is still too high, but at least it shows that the company's earnings growth is taking the P/E down pre...

$Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US)$ AMD's fiscal year is over! Will Lisa pre-announce earnings when the Xilinx deal is closed?

$NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ I'm a NVDA Bag holder. NVDA is doing what Apple, Microsoft, Tesla, Facebook, Amazon did during there high growth. Running up the digits. There's been no (top) found yet, and no top in the foreseeable future. Shortages in semi shows the demand and makes semi a must own.

$Tesla (TSLA.US)$ $Amazon (AMZN.US)$ I am almost done with my end of year stock shopping. I am looking for a couple more high risk and high reward plays. I have a well funded 401k and core portfolio compromised of ETFs and blue chips. I am specifically looking for a company carrying a good amount of risk that could blow up over the next year or two.
Any recommendations welcome.

$Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US)$ $Xilinx (XLNX.US)$ With AMD being capacity constrained, each potential expansion that might open up the supply chain a bit more means more sales. The AMD news sentiment is strongly positive. As the end of the year window dressing and new funds flow into the market in 2022, we should see AMD getting a good fair share of investment dollars. On the high side, we could hit a new ATH this week, but 158-160 seems totally reasonable to me.

$Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US)$ $Xilinx (XLNX.US)$ I think we have a higher chance to see merger news tomorrow. If not then I think we may have to wait until next year.

$Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US)$ This is a GREAT week of the year to be in AMD. Or it has been for the last several years and today got the week off to a great start, better than I expected actually. AMD did ~7.5% last week and could easily do that or more this week.

$AbbVie (ABBV.US)$ AbbVie shares have gone up considerably during the last 2 months, and have hit record highs. Most analysts have price targets around its current value, but there are a few outliers taking AbbVie to near 170 next year.
Are we due for a correction to the downside or has the stock been undervalued severely for a couple years now and we are seeing a correction to the upside, towards its intrinsic value? I've been contemplating selling some of it lately, but it's been hard for me to pull the trigger with it going up something like 12 out of the last 15 trading days. Any thoughts on $ABBV?
