Yesterday was a miserable day to be in Semiconductor stocks and AI hyperscalers for reasons that you would have probably seen all over the internet- China's developed a new LLM called Deepseek, that supposedly performed better in a numerous metrics than the leading US LLMs while utilising a much smaller amount of chips.
