I have invested for many years and had tried implementing this strategy before. There is no guarantee it works for sure and in some extreme cases, there were insiders who bought and the companies subsequently went bust.
Think about it, if investing was so easy simply by following insider trades, everyone would be doing it by now.

Lion’s track record is not great as I think many bought into their Hang Seng Tech ETF and were burnt. Although some things are out of the fund managers’ control as Chinese Tech shares were all hammered, the question of the bad timing of listing at the peak remains.
Lion needs to redeem itself in the eyes of investors - this one does look like a safer bet if you ask me. But again, are they late to chase this trend? Food for thought.

Small steps but I make sure to not take plastic cutlery when I order takeaway and also bother to seperate out my trash for recycling, even to the extent of washing the recyclable items that may have food waste on them. I must say though I am skeptical about whether stuff does get recycled as I see a lot of inconsiderate people throwing all kinds of non recyclable items or food waste into the recycling bins!

Honestly, I have been investing for many years and the best strategy for me thus far is to just stay vested and not try to time the markets. Sometimes you get lucky and other times not but trying to time the market is akin to gambling. You don’t ever see Warren Buffet trying to guess where the market is headed, do you?

At this stage, the interest rate hike is already widely expected and markets have already priced it in - as evidenced by the drop in the prices of REITs as an example. Based on this, I opine that there will be little impact on the stock market should the Fed raise rates as the stock market is all about expectations.

It is virtually impossible to time the market. The key thing is the fundamentals of the company. In the long run, the true value of a good company will eventually show.
In any case, if one buys high and the stock falls lower, if one is truly convinced on the fundamentals of the company, he/she should dollar cost average down.
