Better items for points redemption

With recent rebound in Chinese stocks, it is understandable many may be skeptical to buy at peak and then price drop again. No one can predict future but you are convinced Chinese stocks will regain their actual value then buy for long term. Volatility is part and parcel of stock market.

Women are getting more confident in taking charge of their wealth by investing on their own. Cathie Wood is great example to show that women can be successful in investing. She dares to make bold decisions against majority views. I look upon her to believe in my own conviction why I buy or sell stocks.

I bought some Microsoft stocks high and next thing I knew the price went down and continue sliding further. I was in dilemma whether to cut loss or average down. I decided to average down knowing that the fundamental remains strong and I can’t time the market to buy at bottom. Believe in yourself why you buy the stock in first place.

Just to share some of my personal trading philosophy. Be greedy when everyone is fearful only if the company has strong fundamental. Never average down a losing stock. Cut the loss and reinvest to other opportunities.

There was lots of mixed signal whether market goes north or south. Many moving sideways and difficult to define trendline. I choose to stay in market and accumulate value stocks that have strong fundamental. I also bought some growth stocks to seek higher returns though they are more risky. Stay focus and don’t panic sell.

During my early trading journey, I told myself is temporary and price will rebound when my stocks are losing. In reality they went down further and rarely rebound. Now whenever stock price hit stop loss, i will exit my position to cut my losses. Better to save some and come back to market another day.

My first trade in 2022 was buying Google stock. Bought some when price dropped and accumulated further till it rebounded. Earn some profit though still early to know if further correction will happen.

When a stock goes up within short period and no fundamental changes, i will not hold long if I buy it. I am merely riding the trend while knowing correction is coming soon. Probably take profit in phases till it starts to reverse. In short, sudden price increase may mean risky but it also signals an opportunity.
