Although finance is a profession dominated by men, especially at the top, now women have more opportunities in the finance industry, largely thanks to pioneering women in the field. They are usually willing to stand out, take risks, and refuse to accept negative answers. The following 3 are female investors that I really like:
Muriel Siebert, founder of a stock brokerage firm
Without graduating from college, Muriel Siebert obtained an entry-level research position in the finance field, eventually becoming a partner and founding the stock brokerage firm Muriel Siebert & Co. in 1967.
During the registration process of Siebert's company on the New York Stock Exchange (nyse), she faced many rejections from men (who refused to provide her application with guarantees), making it difficult to obtain financing to meet the exchange's expensive entry requirements.
