Shorted Roblox 2 days ago and found myself in the thick of a short squeeze. The fundamentals as I saw it was that there was that the stock were already ran up in the previous day, and I had thought that the run up was due for a correction.
Apparently, so did many other short sellers, so much so as I learnt the following day the short % was incredibly high. The recipe for this was the prior spike the day before, positive news from the company, coupled with the market going red, leaving many bears zooming in on RBLX, leaving the squeeze wide open.
Luckily for me, I managed to cover my positions at critical points, by shorting further at various highs. Even then, the squeeze was on so strong, that I did get swept away. I covered my margins levels to avoid any margin calls, and camped for the night, having faith that the rightful drop in value will come.
Yesterday, the drop happened and I exited safely, ending the wild roller coaster ride. Got the adrenaline pumping for sure!

I should have just put all my life savings into Lord Musk's offering. Going in at 800+ and riding in Lord Musk's posse all the way to the Moon on our unicorns, along the rainbow highway! Hodlers for life!
Truly, it was a glorious run all the way before Lord Musk decided to give some back to the masses.
