i held off from starting my investment journey for very long. i grew envious of my peers' investment returns as they started out their journey many many years before i did and i felt FOMO plus the irrational need to play catch up.
so i opened my first ever trading account recently and i saw a ticker which was steadily rising and pumped in as much as i could as quickly as possible without doing any due diligence. this meant i bought at almost it's peak during intraday trading.
alas, it dropped by almost 30+% till date and i dont see any chance of it recovering.
the mistake was following my emotions, greed, and not performing prior due diligence.
