Personnally, I don’t ‘celebrate’ Halloween in Singapore (in terms of decorating house, tricks or treating) but we do have a lot of Halloween-themed activities in Singapore.
So one of the most popular ones is the Universal Studio Singapore Horror night, where the theme park operates after business hours and several spook rides / haunted house were opened for us to experience.
Most of the people who went will dressed up and put on the best make up. I am honestly quite impressed and ‘scared’ by some whom make-up were so damn realistic.
So my friends and I went into the haunted house, honestly I was scared out of my wits, it was not the cute, cartoony kind or what I would expect - vampires, Frankenstein etc, more like a chalet setting with ‘southeast asia ghost’.
Because of the effects, I couldn’t tell if they were like real (real humans in make up and costume) or fake (like deco or sculpture)
So there was this demonic toyol (undead infant) which I thought looks real life, so I told my friend about the two toyol that I saw, but she looked at me puzzled, and claimed that she only saw one.
