SmartSave is a wealth management service launched by Moomoo Securities Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.
With SmartSave, idle cash in your Moomoo MY Universal Account will be used to buy Cash Plus automatically on each business day. Your Cash Plus holdings will add to your buying power to trade stocks, subscribe to Malaysian IPO shares, and buy funds (other than Cash Plus), and will be auto-redeemed to cover deficits (if any) in your universal account.
Path: Accounts > Universal Account page > Funds > Activate SmartSave.
After SmartSave is activated, MYR idle cash in your Universal Account will be used to buy Cash Plus automatically at 07:00 AM on each business day.
Path: Accounts > Universal Account page > Funds > Manage SmartSave.
You can pause SmartSave-Buy for 3 days/5 days/7 days/10 days, or continuously. When SmartSave-Buy is paused, your idle funds will remain in your account and will not be auto-invested in Cash Plus.
You can set a Amount Reserved for your account, and only the rest will be used to buy Cash Plus.
Suppose you have 1,000 MYR idle cash in your account and set a Amount Reserved of 400 MYR.
Only 600 MYR of your idle cash will be used to buy Cash Plus.
Mobile APP: Accounts > Universal Account page > Funds > Manage SmartSave > Product.
Path: Accounts > Universal Account page > Funds > Manage SmartSave.
If your account has a deficit, you will need to repay it and ensure the assets in your account can cover your current margin requirements and frozen funds before deactivating SmartSave-Sell.
