Its business includes product research and development (“R&D”), design, manufacturing, and sales. The Group is recognized as the world's largest manufacturer of automotive backlights (in terms of product shipments). The Group also provides one-stop LED energy management services to provide comprehensive energy management lighting solutions for large commercial institutions and public utilities. The Group recently extended its business to the procurement of semiconductor memory chips to capture the increase in demand and promote the development of the industry. Since its successful listing on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Limited (“Stock Exchange”) on November 18, 2014 (Stock Code: 1305), the Group has been committed to enhancing brand value and becoming one of the leaders in China's high-end LED backlighting and lighting industry. LED backlight products are divided into three categories, which include: (1) vehicle displays; (2) television displays; and (3) other industrial equipment displays. The LED lighting business is divided into two major categories, including commercial lighting and public lighting.
