• 102362254 : Bitcoin typically recovers in July following a decline in June. However, its performance could be affected by upcoming Mt. Gox repayments and sales by the German government. Personally, I prefer investing in Bitcoin ETFs rather than directly in Bitcoin itself.

  July bitcoin performance crystal ball forecast:
  Historically, July is a strong month for Bitcoin, with prices increasing by 12% to 19% on average.
  In recent years, whenever June ended with a price downturn, July saw a significant comeback, with Bitcoin gaining an average of 7.42%.
  Despite this, Bitcoin has begun July 2024 on a high note, rising 4% in the past day to $63,200.
  $106 million in short positions have been liquidated in the past 24 hours, with 85% of them being sellers.
  Analysts predict Bitcoin to rebound strongly in July after declining by 7% in June 2024

  Bitcoin (BTC) which is the most popular cryptocurrency is +41% YTD as of yesterday and hit a high price of USD 72,000 last month.
  I think the BTC price will undergo several waves of plummet and rebound, not just July. Unlike stocks, BTC is not linked to any company and has no intrinsic value hence it is extremely difficult to time the market. TA indicators may not accurately forecast the price trending.

  Some important info about cryptocurrency you should know:
  1) Warren Buffett said in 2018 that cryptocurrency with almost certainty would come to a bad ending. He believes that cryptocurrencies are not a viable or valuable investment.
  2) Ark Invest CEO Cathie Wood called bitcoin a “financial super highway,” emphasized the important use cases for the cryptocurrency in emerging markets. Ark’s spot bitcoin ETF has become one of the more successful bitcoin ETFs among the ten funds issued in January this year.
  Despite Wood's strong belief, there's no evidence that she bought and held BTC.
  3) There is no regulation to protect retail investors who bought cryptocurrency. Those who bought BTC in 2022 will remember several cryptocurrency brokerages collapsed commonly known as "bank run". Just to name a few cryptocurrency exchangers who went bankrupt - FTX, BlockFi, Hodlnaut and Celsius. Many retail investors lost money because they were unable to withdraw their money.

  The short answer is "Yes" I would buy the stock but not directly. I prefer ETFs which include Nvidia like the S&P500. First this will reduce my risk by diversification - don't put all eggs in one basket. Second if Nvidia underwent price correction or dip, the impact may be less as other stocks are still doing well.
  It looks like the AI-chips stocks hype will continue for a while as there is high demand. Nvidia CEO is expected to announce the company's master plan or new products to capitalize the hype during the shareholder meeting hence we may expect share price rally after the event. Personally I think investing in this stock should be for a longer term and should not be due to FOMO mindset (greed). We should also note that Nvidia is not the only company making AI chips.

• Dadacai : The next shareholder meeting is expected to present questions as to why insiders were selling their shares. There is a risk that the stock price can go down further although it can also go up if the guidance is good. I may enter if the price is reasonable.

  As someone who holds $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ shares I am a bit conflicted by the pay package
  On one hand Elon Musk's $56 billion Tesla pay package is excessive and unfair to stakeholders. On the other Elon Musk has indeed delivered significant growth and stockholder value. Hence feelings conflicted
  And recently he even ordered chipmaker Nvidia to divert a $500 million shipment of AI-powered chips originally bound for Tesla to his companies X and AI startup xAI

• ZnWC : I have shared a few articles about Elon Musk's (EM) 2018 Tesla Pay package. This is the latest one which I explained in 7 reasons why I supported proposals 3 and 4.  Proposal 3 is to ratify the pay package and proposal 4 is to redomesticate Tesla from Delaware to Texas. Both are equally important and if they are voted down, it will have grave consequences to the company's future. One of which is EM may resign as CEO. The other is the Delaware Court may rescind the pay package again and Tesla shareholders need to pay legal fees to the lawyer which I think it is wrong.
  Tomorrow (12 June 2024) is the last day to cast your vote online. Don't let the hedge fund and bank managers or proxy advisors (Glass Lewis and ISS) make this important decision for you. Retail investors hold about 42% of the vote which can swing the outcome either way. There is no right or wrong about this voting, only consequences - the value of TSLA stock you are holding.
  There's a misconception that the stock may be "diluted" if EM takes the pay package and leaves. This is not true. Despite what the proxy advisor said, this compensation is not a ‘$52 billion cash bonus’. It is a share options scheme, giving EM the option to buy an allocation of Tesla shares at a discounted share price of $23. The options are not exercisable for 5 years which can motivate EM to stay at Tesla for the long term. The options have already been allocated and WILL NOT cause dilution to existing shareholders.

  7 Jun Nvidia 10 for 1 stock split, US employment report
  11-12 Jun Fed FOMC meeting  
  13 June Tesla shareholders meeting
  28 Jun Geely Auto earnings
  2/3* Jul Tesla Q2 delivery report
  1) The stock shaker will be $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ because of the 10-1 stock split. The share price may go either way but expect volatility probably throughout the whole month. Some analysts said there may be a pullback for the share price while others say it will "go to the moon".
  2) $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ is next because of the Tesla Shareholders Meeting voting will have long term impact to the EV maker and the entire industry. The voting may decide if Elon Musk is staying or leaving Tesla thereby affecting the company's continue to invest in AI. $NIO Inc (NIO.US)$ and Geely Auto$GEELY AUTO (00175.HK)$ stocks may also "shake" the stock market after the earnings announcement.
  3) Last is the meme stocks like $GameStop (GME.US)$ and the BTC related stocks like $Digital Currency Concept (LIST20010.US)$ BTC ETFs and $Coinbase (COIN.US)$ . As we don't know the intrinsic value of the two assets, they are highly speculative and risky not suitable for inexperienced retail investors who may be manipulated by FOMO (greed).
