AutoBuy Plans are executed using standard market orders. If the investment amount doesn't cover a whole share, the order will be rounded down to the nearest whole share. For example, if stock ABC is priced at $110 and the investment amount is $1000, you will be able to buy 9 shares.
Q: What happens if the investment amount I set for my AutoBuy Plan isn't enough to cover one share?
To execute AutoBuy Plans, you must purchase a minimum of one share. If your investment amount is not enough to cover one share, your AutoBuy order will fail.
Q: What is the execution price for buying shares on the day of scheduled investments?
After setting up a US stock AutoBuy Plan, the system will place a market order at around 10:30 AM ET on the scheduled investment date. If the scheduled investment date falls on a non-trading day, the order execution will be postponed to around 10:30 AM ET on the next trading day.
Q: Why did my AutoBuy Plan buy 0 shares while my funds were sufficient?
The reason may be due to one of the following:

Other extreme situations, such as problems with an upstream service provider that can't be resolved immediately.
