The company announced its first half results the previous day, with a net profit of 688.5 billion yen, which is 3.4 times compared to the same period last year. The full-year financial estimates were revised upward from the previous 870 billion yen to 880 billion yen, an increase of 26.5% year-on-year. However, when excluding gains from the sale of policy stocks, the profit will be 528 billion yen, which is a reduction of 82 billion yen from the initial estimate, appearing to be seen as a selling factor. The announcement of the share buyback also lacks surprises.
