How to deposit funds into Registered Accounts (RRSP/TFSA/SRRSP)

To deposit funds into a registered account (TFSA/RRSP/SRRSP) in the moomoo app, go to:

  1. Accounts > Select TFSA or RRSP or SRRSP> Tap Transfers > Deposit, or click here

  2. Confirm the account type you'd like to deposit funds into

  3. Select how to make the deposit and complete the transfer

Moomoo CA currently provides three deposit methods: online bill payment, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), and wire transfer. To learn more about each deposit method, click here.

 

Notes:

  • A TFSA or RRSP or SRRSP account only supports deposits in CAD.

  • The name on the bank account must match the name of the brokerage account. If the names don't match, the deposit won't be accepted, and any fees will still be incurred. Please note if you are depositing to a Spousal Retirement Savings Plan account (SRRSP), the bank account holder's legal name can be the name of the brokerage account or the spouse's. 

  • Corporate bank accounts cannot be used to transfer funds to Moomoo CA.
