The time when a request is submitted may affect the processing time of the currency exchange.
Note: The estimated processing times for the periods below may differ from the actual processing times.
Real-time processing
Real-time: For exchange requests submitted between Sunday at 5:15 PM ET and Friday at 5:00 PM ET, currency exchanges will be processed in real-time.
Maintenance time: For exchange requests submitted from 5:00 PM ET to 5:15 PM ET each day, currency exchanges may not be completed in real-time due to maintenance time, and will begin to process after 5:15 PM ET the same day.
To cancel the currency exchange request:
●Go to Accounts > Transfers > Currency Exchange > Exchange History
Queued processing
Weekends & Holidays: For exchange requests submitted on weekends or holidays, currency exchanges will be queued for processing until the next available time, and are subject to the real-time exchange rates at the time the processing is complete.
For example, if you submit an exchange instruction on Saturday, it will be queued until Sunday at 5:15 PM ET when the Exchange begins processing again.
For exchange requests submitted on holidays, a separate notification will be issued. Please make a note of the important announcements.
Note: Due to market fluctuations, the reference exchange rate displayed on the currency exchange page outside of the real-time completion period may differ greatly from the actual exchange rate.
