Transfer-in & Get up to RM1,100* Rewards - May to June 2024

Eligibility

All Moomoo MY customers (both new and existing customers of Moomoo MY) may participate in this transfer activity and are eligible to receive corresponding rewards.

1. New customer: Customers who had no assets in their Moomoo MY Universal Account before 21/5/2024.

2. Existing customer: Customers who had assets in their Moomoo MY Universal Account before 21/5/2024.

3. Moomoo MY reserves the right to change the eligibility criteria for this campaign.

 

Reward Eligibility

Customers who successfully transfer eligible stock assets to Moomoo MY are eligible to receive either of the rewards, depending on the task you completed:

Task (Choose either task to complete and receive respective reward(s). After receiving the reward(s), maintain the stock assets for 90 days and the reward(s) will be unfrozen)Reward

● Transfer-out fee subsidy capped at RM200 (Please see FAQ no. 8.)

● Customers who transfer a cumulative amount of at least RM30,000 are eligible for the transfer-out fee subsidy, and can enjoy an extra 180-day zero-commission trading for US Stock Market and Malaysian Stock Market.

 

In the event of a transfer failure, you will not qualify for the activity rewards.

2. Transfer amounts are based on the market value of assets at the time of arrival of their assets to Moomoo MY universal account.

3. Only long stock positions (US/ MY stocks) are eligible for transfer rewards, short positions are not supported for transfer.

 

How do I initiate a stock transfer-in request?

1. How do I initiate a MY Shares Transfer-In request?

Step 1. Successfully opened a Moomoo MY universal account.

Step 2. Initiate a transfer-out request with the current broker where you hold your positions.

Step 3. Moomoo MY reviews the stock transfer request information.

Step 4. After the review is completed, Moomoo MY will add the corresponding assets to your account.

Step 5. After the successful transfer of stocks, you will receive a notification of the successful transfer.

2. How do I initiate a US Shares Transfer-In request?

Step 1. Start the transfer process in the moomoo app.

Step 2. Select your current brokerage & provide the following account details.

Step 3. Choose Full or Partial Transfer.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why haven't I received the rewards after transferring RM80,000?

After the successful transfer, the rewards will be reflected on your account within 7 working days after the event end date. The rewards can be viewed in [moomoo app - Me - My Rewards]. However, the reward issued at this time is in a frozen state. You need to keep the asset limit corresponding to the reward for at least 90 days after receive reward(s) to unfreeze. Otherwise, the action will be deemed ineligible for the award.

2. Will using my deposit for trading affect the unlocking of the free share?

No, it won't. Feel free to trade during the lock-in period, the fluctuations in trading activity and stock prices will not affect the unlocking of the rewards. As long as your net assets remain at least RM30,000 or RM80,000 throughout the lock-in period, subsequent deposit and withdrawal activities will not affect the process of unlocking the rewards.

3. How long does it take from initiating the transfer to completing the transfer?

It is estimated that it will take 3-15 working days from the time the customer initiates the transfer to the successful transfer. The successful transfer is subject to the receiving of notification indicating the completion of the transfer.

4. If I transfer RM5,000 in 21/05/2024 and tranfer RM25,000 in /25/05/2024, can I get rewards?

Yes, you can. If the cumulative transfer amount reaches at least RM30,000 you will be deemed to be eligible to participate in the event and will receive the respective rewards.

5. If I already transferred RM30,000 in 25/05/2024, can I transfer another RM50,000 stock assets to be eligible for the free Apple share reward?

Yes, you can. You just need to transfer a cumulative amount of RM 80,000 before 30/06/2024, then you will eligible for the free Apple share after event end date.

6. Can I still participate in the event, if I have successfully transferred-in to Moomoo MY prior to this event?

Yes, you can. This event is available to all clients.

7. Can I join the New Customer Promotion if I have participated in this event?

Yes, you can participate in both campaigns. However, you cannot claim the rewards of New User Promotion by transferring RM 1,000 / RM 10,000 from other brokerage. The rewards of New User Promotion can only be claimed by transferring cash from bank account and fulfilling the respective tasks. 8. How is the transfer fee subsidised?

Upon successful transfer of eligible assets to Moomoo MY, the subsidy will be issued to the user's Moomoo MY universal account within 15 working days in the form of cash coupons. Moomoo MY will subsidise the expenses deducted from the original brokerage firm due to the transfer, up to a maximum of RM200.

9. How long is the validity period of the stock cash coupon?

The stock cash coupon is valid for 90 days after successful activation.

10. If I transfer a cumulative amount of at least RM80,000, can I get both Tier 1 and Tier 2 rewards?

No, you can only receive reward(s) from one of the tiers depending on the task you completed.

11. Can I transfer options to get rewards?

No, you can't. Currently, only stock transfer is accepted, and once the cumulative transfer amount reaches RM30,000, you will be deemed eligible to participate in the event and receive rewards.

Please do not open the universal account if you are not the ultimate beneficial owner. If your universal account shows signs of fraud, abuse, or suspicious activity, such as the use of multiple accounts or devices, Moomoo MY may, at its sole discretion, confiscate your reward entitlements and limit your opportunities to participate in future campaigns/promotions.

6. Each device, whether mobile or computer, can only receive one set of account opening bonus, deposit bonus and/or referral bonus. The same user can only be invited once. The same moomoo account, the same mobile phone number, and the same device are all regarded as representing the same user.

7. In Malaysia, the investment products available through the moomoo app are offered by Moomoo MY, a licensed entity registered with Securities Commission Malaysia ("SC") (License No. eCMSL/A0397/2024). Should a user not fulfill all the stated conditions of this Campaign/Promotion, Moomoo MY reserves the right to cancel any delivered rewards, including commission-free trading for US/MY stocks, gift stocks, Level 2 US market data, Level 1 MY market data. Commissions and fees will then be charged by Moomoo MY as per normal standards.

13. In order to ensure the fairness of the Campaign/Promotion, the Campaign/Promotion may have restrictions on the daily reward distribution limit, the total reward distribution limit, and the upper limit of rewards received by a single user.
