How to open a CDS Account-IPO

A CDS Account-IPO is necessary to participate in Malaysia IPO subscriptions. Before applying for a CDS Account-IPO, please make sure you have the following information with you:

● ID information

● Bank account information (if applicable)

● Proof of bank account (if applicable)

 

To open a CDS Account-IPO in the moomoo app, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to Accounts > More > CDS Account-IPO

2. Check your profile information

3. Fill in your ID information

*Your address information must be the same as on your ID.

4. Select a bank account or add a bank account by filling in your bank information

*If a proof of bank account is required, please click here to learn more about the requirements.

5. Read and sign the Customer Declaration

6. Submit the account application

 

Notes:

● To open a CDS Account-IPO, you must have a Universal Account with Moomoo MY first.

● Once you submit the account application, we usually process it in less than 2 business days. Updates will be sent via email and push notifications.

● If additional information is required to proceed with your account application, you will be notified via email and push notifications.
