Moomoo Malaysia New Customer Promotion - Feb to Mar 2024

Campaign Eligibility

New Users who have successfully opened a Moomoo MY universal account and haven't made any deposit into the account before 2024.02.26.

The customer shall not participate in any other new user promotion, including the 'Team up with A Friend to Get 1×Apple Stock' activity.

 

Rewards

Upon completing tasks, you may get the corresponding rewards such as a free Apple share, cash coupons, stock cash coupons and 1 month Level 2 MY market data (up to 6 months).

 

Reward 1: Free LV2 US stock 60 depth & LV1 MY stocks 3 market depth quotes.

Task: Successfully open Moomoo MY universal account during 26/02/2024 00:00 AM - 31/03/2024 11:59 PM MYT.

 

Reward 2: RM100 cash rewards of RM50*1 cash coupon and RM10*5 stock cash coupons.

Task: Successfully open Moomoo MY universal account and deposit a cumulative amount of at least RM500 into the account before 11:59 PM MYT 31/03/2024.

The RM10*5 stock cash coupons will be issued and activated upon successful deposit. 

The RM50*1 cash coupon will be issued upon successful deposit, and will be activatable if you maintain the assets (cash, stocks and other assets included) of RM500 (or equivalent currencies) for 30 days.

Note: The value fluctuations of your holdings after depositing will not affect the unlocking of rewards, and you are free to trade stocks. In the unlikely event that the unlocking of Apple stocks fails due to a significant decrease in the net value caused by fluctuations in the value of your assets, moomoo will investigate and complete reward re-issuance within 7 working days.

To activate the RM50 cash coupon, click on the "Unfreeze" button located in the "My Rewards" section of the moomoo app after the asset maintenance period has ended. The stock coupons and cash coupon are valid for 90 days from the date they were issued.

 

Reward 3: An Apple share.

Task:

To be eligible for the free Apple share, you must successfully open a Moomoo MY universal account and deposit a cumulative amount of at least RM8,000 into the account before 11:59 PM MYT 31/03/2024. Once the deposit of RM8,000 has been completed, you must also successfully claim the free Apple share from the activity landing page.

Upon successful claim, the Apple share will be issued and activated if you maintain assets (including cash, stocks, and other assets) of RM8,000 (or equivalent currencies) for 30 days.

Note: The value fluctuations of your holdings after depositing will not affect the unlocking of rewards, and you are free to trade stocks. In the unlikely event that the unlocking of Apple stocks fails due to a significant decrease in the net value caused by fluctuations in the value of your assets, moomoo will investigate and complete reward re-issuance within 7 working days.

This promotion is available for a limited time only and operates on first-come, first-served basis.

 

Reward 4: 1 month free Level 2 MY market data.

Task:

Trade any US and/or MY stocks with Moomoo MY universal account at least once before 11:59 PM MYT, 31/3/2024.

You will receive 1 x coupon for every buy in trade, with the maximum of 6 x coupons. 6x coupons unlock 6 months free Level 2 MY market data.

 

Reward 5: 0 commission for new customers for 180 days.

Task: Successfully open Moomoo MY universal account during 26/02/2024 00:00 AM - 31/03/2024 11:59 PM MYT.

The 0 commission for 180 days card for US stocks will be granted and activated automatically upon opening a US stock account. The 0 commission for 180 days card for Malaysia stocks will be granted upon opening a Malaysia stock account, and customers need to click the 'Use' button to activate it.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can I make multiple deposits and claim the reward multiple times?

No, you can't. Cash and Apple stock rewards are limited to one per person who meets the eligibility criteria.

2. Can I give my rewards to someone else?

No, you cannot. The reward will only belong to you.

3. Do the rewards have an expiration date?

The RM100 cash rewards will be valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. The Apple share will be issued upon successful deposit, and will be activated if you maintain the assets (cash, stocks and other assets included) of RM8,000 (or equivalent currencies) for 30 days. 

 

Terms & Conditions

1. The rewards and offers in this campaign/promotion (“Campaign/Promotion”) are provided by Moomoo Securities Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. ("Moomoo MY”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Futu Holdings Limited. By participating in this Campaign/Promotion, you undertake to have carefully read and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Campaign/Promotion (“Terms and Conditions”), as well as the terms and conditions of the existing Client Agreement. Moomoo MY has the final decision on the eligibility of participants in this Campaign/Promotion.

2. Moomoo MY reserves the right to: (i) amend these Campaign/Promotion Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice to you, and (ii) change, withdraw or terminate any offer or reward without disclosing the reason and without making compensation or remuneration. Any adjustments or decisions made by Moomoo MY in connection with this Campaign/Promotion shall be binding on all participants.

3. You shall be responsible for any telephone, internet and other charges that may be incurred.

4. Currently, Moomoo MY limits sign-ups to a limited group of nationalities. Please click on the drop-down box during your account opening process to see if your nationality is available on the list.

5. You can only open one universal account with Moomoo MY. Moomoo MY does not allow one person to open a universal account on behalf of another person (i.e. non-beneficial owners are not allowed to open accounts). Please do not open the universal account if you are not the ultimate beneficial owner. If your universal account shows signs of fraud, abuse, or suspicious activity, such as the use of multiple accounts or devices, Moomoo MY may, at its sole discretion, confiscate your reward entitlements and limit your opportunities to participate in future campaigns/promotions.

6. Each device, whether mobile or computer, can only receive one set of account opening bonus, deposit bonus and/or referral bonus. The same user can only be invited once. The same moomoo account, the same mobile phone number, and the same device are all regarded as representing the same user.

7. In Malaysia, the investment products available through the moomoo app are offered by Moomoo MY, a licensed entity registered with Securities Commission Malaysia (“SC”) (License No. eCMSL/A0397/2024). The moomoo App is a trading platform provided by Moomoo Technologies Inc., a subsidiary of Futu Holdings Limited. Moomoo MY shall not be responsible for any injury, loss or damage suffered as a result of, or in connection with this Campaign/Promotion and/or redemption or use of the prize/rewards howsoever arising, including but not limited to, fulfilment of the prizes/rewards, any breakdown or malfunction in any computer system or equipment, any notice which is misdirected and/or lost in the post, loss of income, profits or goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including third parties howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, suspension or termination by Moomoo MY of this Campaign/Promotion shall not entitle any party to any claim or compensation against Moomoo MY for any and all losses or damage suffered or incurred directly or indirectly resulting therefrom.

10. Any trademarks, graphic symbols, logos or intellectual property contained in any materials relating to this Campaign/Promotion, particularly in connection with the rewards/prizes, are the property of their respective owners. Moomoo MY does not provide any financial advice, endorsement or sponsorship of its[s1] products or services.

11. This Campaign/Promotion is not eligible to users whose names are on the "Moomoo MY Event Participation Ban List". If a user repeatedly violates safety rules of Moomoo MY, their name will be added to the "Moomoo MY Event Participation Ban List".

12. Should a user not fulfil all the stated conditions of this Campaign/Promotion, Moomoo MY. reserves the right to cancel any delivered rewards, including commission-free trading for US/MY stocks, gift stocks, Level 2 US market data, Level 1 MY market data. Commissions and fees will then be charged by Moomoo MY as per normal standards.
